Cultivating Change: School Leaders Implementing DEI Systems in K‒12 Schools

Abstract

This study explores the lived experiences of school leaders implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) systems in K-12 schools. The research aims to disclose the challenges and successes experienced by these school leaders in striving for educational equity and inclusion. The findings will offer a comprehensive interpretation of the experiences inherent to inclusive leadership practices, contribute to ongoing studies prioritizing DEI in educational environments, and inform best practices for K-12 school leaders.
