Description
While the theology of the Stone-Campbell movement rejected most forms of public leadership for women, throughout the history of the movement black women in churches of Christ have demonstrated particular leadership abilities that fundamentally aided in growing and sustaining the movement. This panel will focus on the myriad of ways black women’s leadership has served Churches of Christ which have not often been acknowledged or explored.
