Description
Alexander Campbell was a leader of the Restoration Movement, resulting in the development of non-denominational Christian churches which emphasized reliance on scripture. Several church groups have some historical ties with Campbell's efforts, including the Churches of Christ, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and the independent Christian churches and churches of Christ. The Christian System is an overall summary of Campbell's doctrine.
