Abstract
The myth of inspiration undermines the value of craft and persistence in creative work, leading to self-doubt among artists. True creativity is a result of consistent effort and dedication, not waiting for an external muse to strike. Reframing inspiration as a byproduct of hard work can help artists overcome self-doubt and achieve success. Emphasizing the process and practice of creation allows inspiration to emerge naturally, fostering artistic growth.
