About the Artist
Beatrix Way was born in Los Angeles in 1991 and hasn’t left yet. She has always had more than a passing interest in the imaginary and it defines her illustrations. Beatrix Way attends (soon to be past tense) Pepperdine University and is finishing her B.A. in Art. She has attended the Anime Expo four years as an artist selling her work beginning in 2008, and currently completes online commissions and requests. She is an illustrator and writer who recently finished two books: “Would an Octopus Wear Mittens or Boots?” and “What is the Ocean Like?” She hopes to continue her work in the area of Children’s books and to help inspire a creative imagination for any of her readers.
