About the Artist
Anna-Rebecca Johnson is a painter living in Malibu, California. She was born in 1990 and grew up in west Texas. Her B.A. in painting was received from Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine, she studied for a summer in Florence with Studio Art Centers International, focusing on Jewelry Design and Renaissance Art History. Anna- Rebecca discovered her love of art at a very young age. The inspiration to become an artist stems from her mother and her grandmother, who are both oil painters. She grew up in a family strongly faith-based family, which is where she gets inspiration for her paintings. She is currently working on a collection of pieces inspired by Gothic-style cathedrals, reminiscent of those she studied while studying in Europe. She continues to use painting as an outlet to explore her Christian faith and share that faith with others.
