The Practical Theology section engages research and reflection on the integration of theology and practice and seeks to discover new possibilities for theological reflection within diverse contexts of ministry and life. Topics include homiletics, worship, ministry education, pastoral care, and spiritual formation. Various definitions and constructs offer paths to enhance formal theological engagement with practice. The session “The Theology of Practice” looks at three examples where formal theology finds concrete expression.
