This session brings together scholars from the Stone-Campbell Movement who are contributors to Oxford University Press' Ancient Christian Study Bible (2027). This resource aims to offer accessible summaries of early Christian interpretations of the Bible, grouped by pericope. Panelists will introduce the scope and aim of the project, reflect on the intersection between restorationist impulses and interest in patristic exegesis, and offer insight into how the ACSB might be useful to ministers, students, and laypeople alike.
