Double cornucopiae decorated with ribbones, pomagranate between, in border of dots.

Comments

Nephew of Judas Maccabaeus. See Josephus. Hasmonaean ruler struggled with Antiochus VII. Amid dissapating Seleucid Empire, he conquered surrounding areas, destroyed the Samaritan temple on Mt. Gerizim, forced conversions to Judaism.
