Abstract

In this artist talk I will discuss a creative body of work I completed summer 2015 that focuses on themes of aging and its inherent beauty. By experiencing cultures different than mine - namely, that of Florence, Italy, as well as that of Southern California - working for the first time with screen printing, and conducting creative research on aging, I was able to use artistic process as a vehicle to change my perspective on inherent beauty.
