Abstract

This presentation aims to provide a brief overview of the emerging themes in the literature about the relationship between teaching and learning within the psychology of education. This will be presented in four sections: Section One introduces relevant terminology and concepts, and Section Two illustrates the congruency and the correlation between the underlying theories of learning and theories of teaching. Shifting to a new learning paradigm will be discussed in section four, whereas the last section highlights the growing call to transform education.
